Der Tiefpunkt der Baustelle ist überwunden und zugleich ein bedeutender Höhepunkt erreicht: Das Gerüst ist abgebaut und das Haus zeigt sich wieder!
Für diesen Meilenstein waren zahlreiche Vorarbeiten nötig. Nicht nur die Fassade musste vollständig verputzt sein, auch sämtliche Arbeiten an der Außenhülle des Hauses mussten abgeschlossen sein. Das bedeutet: Alle Fensterbänke wurden montiert, alle Fensterrahmen saniert und frisch gestrichen, Halterungen für Markisen und Lampen angebracht, die Kunststeinelemente umfassend saniert und vieles mehr.
Nun steht das Haus wieder frei, in jener Farbe, in der es vor 95 Jahren erbaut wurde – und es sieht, fast schon fertig aus.
Um das Haus herum und im Innenraum ist aber noch einiges zu tun. Doch auch hier fügt sich immer mehr zusammen – mehr dazu, wie üblich, demnächst hier im Blog.

Unclothed
The lowest point of the construction site has been overcome and, at the same time, a significant milestone has been reached: the scaffolding has been dismantled and the house is visible again!
Numerous preparatory steps were necessary to reach this milestone. Not only did the façade have to be completely plastered, but all work on the exterior shell of the building also had to be completed. This meant that all window sills had to be installed, all window frames renovated and freshly painted, brackets for awnings and lamps attached, the artificial stone elements comprehensively renovated, and much more.
Now the house stands free again, in the colour in which it was built 95 years ago – and it looks almost finished.
However, there is still a lot to do around the house and inside. But here, too, more and more is coming together – as usual, more on this soon here in the blog.
