Dank einer Kooperation mit dem MAK haben wir Zugang zum Gesamtgutachten zur Villa Beer vom Jahr 2017 erhalten. Damit stehen uns zahlreiche Informationen und Einzelgutachten zur Verfügung.
Dennoch haben wir ein weiteres Elektrikgutachten in Auftrag gegeben, um ein noch detaillierteres Bild vom Ist-Zustand zu erhalten.
Auch dieses Gutachten stellt klar, dass die Elektrik aktuell zum Großteil nicht mehr in Betrieb genommen werden darf. Im EG können noch manche Steckdosen genutzt werden, aber auch hier besteht eine gewisse Gefahr.
Positiv wurde festgestellt, dass die Verkabelung der vorhandenen Originalleuchten nicht aus den 30er Jahren ist, sondern bereits mit kunststoffisolierten Kabeln versehen wurde. Fast alle Kabel können in den E-Schläuchen bewegt und somit voraussichtlich neu gezogen werden!
Wir haben nun unseren Elektriker beauftragt ein Provisorium herzustellen, das es gefahrlos ermöglicht in jedem Stockwerk Strom zu verwenden, den Keller (inkl. Heizung) korrekt zu versorgen und die wichtigsten Beleuchtungskörper im EG in Betrieb zu nehmen.
Somit können auch diesen Hebst und Winter Besprechungen, einzelne Führungen etc. im Haus stattfinden.
Electrical System: Inspection Report and Temporary Solution
Thanks to a partnership with the MAK, we have gained access to the comprehensive 2017 assessment report on Villa Beer. This provides us with a wealth of information and individual reports.
Nevertheless, we commissioned another electrical assessment to gain an even more detailed picture of the current condition.
This assessment also makes it clear that, for the most part, the electrical system may no longer be put into operation. On the ground floor, some outlets can still be used, but there is a certain risk here as well.
On a positive note, it was determined that the wiring for the existing original light fixtures does not date back to the 1930s but was already equipped with plastic-insulated cables. Almost all cables can be moved within the electrical conduits and can therefore likely be rerouted!
We have now commissioned our electrician to install a temporary solution that will safely allow electricity to be used on every floor, properly power the basement (including the heating system), and put the most important light fixtures on the ground floor into operation.
This means that meetings, individual tours, and other events can take place in the building this fall and winter as well.
