Die Familie, die das Haus von 1941 bis in die 2000er Jahre bewohnte, baute in den 1960er Jahren einen Teil des Wohnzimmers zu einer Küche um. Damit es dort nicht ganz dunkel war, wurde der neue Raum mit einem Fenster versehen, das die straßenseitige Fassade veränderte und architekturkundige Menschen möglicherweise schmerzte.
Nun wurde das Fenster wieder rückgebaut – noch sieht man die Spuren, aber die Symmetrie der Fassade ist beinahe wieder so wie von Josef Frank und Oskar Wlach erdacht.

Additional windows are gone again
The family that lived in the house from 1941 through the 2000s converted part of the living room into a kitchen in the 1960s. To keep the space from being completely dark, they added a window to the new room, which altered the street-facing facade and may have been a source of distress for architecture enthusiasts.
Now the window has been removed—traces of it are still visible, but the symmetry of the facade is almost back to how Josef Frank and Oskar Wlach originally envisioned it.
